Thanks to the Bishop for a great lesson on modesty and morality. Remember to review the "Dress and Appearance," "Dating," and "Sexual Purity" sections in your "For the Strength of Youth" pamphlet. The highlights:

• The way you dress is a reflection of what youare on the inside. When you are well groomed and modestly dressed, you invite the companionship of the Spirit. Never lower your dress standards for any occasion.


• Don't forget to date only those who have high standards and make sure your parents meet (and approve of) those you date.


• The prophet Alma taught that sexual sins are more serious than any other sins except murder or denying the Holy Ghost. Do not participate in passionate kissing. Victims of rape, incest, or other sexual abuse are not guilty of sin.

Be there. Each of us was there in the Council in Heaven. When you have made a commitment to yourself, your family, your bishop, your employer, be there. When it is time to be in church, at Mutual, be there. When it is time to graduate, be there. When the Savior waits to greet you as you return with honor from your life on this earth and your Heavenly Father wants to encircle you about in the arms of His love, be there.
